What do you do?

Junior Product Manager at H.H.Brown Shoe Co.

What do you love about it?

I love working with people, getting to hear what they’re struggling with and having problems with. Then I can turn around and bring them a solution. You get to see how happy you make people by helping them solve their problems.

Why do you do it here in Maine?

The atmosphere and culture of Maine is unlike many places. It’s beautiful and the people are friendly. I really enjoy being able to live in the hustle and bustle town of Bangor but just a 5-10 min drive can make you feel like you’re way out in the middle of nature.

How did you get here?

I worked really hard at my passion; Computer Science. I attended my classes, met great friends and colleagues, and went to a lot of the social events that UMaine and Project Login have. They’re great places to gain contacts, learn what else you should learn, and even to find mentors.
