WEX and Educate Maine invite Maine high school students to participate in the WEX Junior Associate Program. This week-long program provides job shadowing opportunities for high school juniors and seniors at WEX offices in southern Maine.
Students from participating schools will join WEX employees to learn more about future career opportunities. Students will be able to participate in projects to further their knowledge and skills in technology and business, gain an early payments industry knowledge, and network with senior leaders. During the experience students will be paired with particular departments depending on their career interests. Participating departments include human resources, legal, finance, information technology, and marketing.
The WEX Junior Associate Program takes place during February and April vacations: February 18-21, 2020 and April 20-24, 2020. Students are asked to indicate the week they would like to participate on the application. Students should plan to attend from 9:00am until 3:00pm each day. Students need to have daily transportation to the Portland area during each school break.
